This watercolor shoe illustration was inspired by the happy colors and nature-inspired patterns of this season’s spring shoes. It was also an experiment in Photoshop – I scanned four original watercolor paintings and combined them into one panoramic image.
I love working with a limited palette, in this case black and white with a touch of teal blue. In these fashion figure paintings I wanted to focus simply on shapes, light and the ethereal quality of watercolor.
