About the Artwork
A contemporary take on a Degas ballerina painting. This dreamy scene of a young woman gazing at The Little Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer sculpture by Edgar Degas at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC. It’s part of my ongoing series on looking at art. Painted in an impressionist watercolor style on my iPad in soft shades of green, blue, peach, yellow ochre and sepia. This painting evokes a feeling of nostalgia.
